Getting started
Simply create an account or sign in, upload a photo of your empty room, and choose a style template on the staging page. Our AI will generate a professionally staged version in minutes.
What does \u201cAI staging\u201d do vs. manual editing?
Stagely uses advanced AI to automatically detect the room's geometry and lighting, placing realistic 3D furniture instantly. It is significantly faster and more affordable than traditional manual editing, which often requires hours of human labor.
Who is this for (agents, hosts, homeowners, designers)?
Stagely is designed for real estate agents, property managers, homeowners preparing listings, interior photographers, and marketing teams who need high-quality property visuals quickly and at scale.
Do you offer example galleries or before/after demos?
Yes! You can see examples on our landing page. Additionally, our free tier allows you to generate your own watermarked results to test the quality firsthand.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, we offer free example credits (up to 3) so you can test the service. These outputs include a watermark but let you evaluate the quality before paying.
Photo upload & requirements
Supported formats, sizes, and recommendations for best results.
Supported file types and max file size?
We support standard image formats like JPG, PNG, and WebP. For best results, use high-quality images under 20MB.
Minimum resolution/aspect ratio for best results?
We recommend at least 1920x1080 resolution. The AI works best with standard wide-angle real estate shots that show 3 walls and the floor.
Can I upload phone photos? RAW? 360°? HDR brackets?
Modern smartphone photos work great! We currently do not support 360° panoramas or raw HDR brackets; please upload a standard flattened image (JPG/PNG).
How should I photograph clutter, mirrors, people, or pets?
Empty rooms work best for staging. If the room has furniture, use our 'AI Removal' tool first. Try to avoid large mirrors directly facing the camera or people/pets in the frame for the cleanest result.
EXIF/geo data — kept, stripped, or editable?
We process the visual image data to generate your result. Metadata like geolocation is typically not preserved in the final staged output to ensure privacy.

Available looks and how to guide the AI.
What templates exist (Scandinavian, Modern, Japandi, etc.)?
We offer a diverse range of styles including Modern, Scandinavian, Industrial, Midcentury, Luxury, Farmhouse, Coastal, and a balanced Standard style.
How do I fine-tune a template during purchase?
You can customize your staging by selecting preferences for furniture density (amount), color palette (neutral, warm, cool, bold), and even focal points like bed or seating area.
Can I save my own prompt presets?
Currently, preferences are selected per image to ensure the best match for each specific room.
Will the AI respect existing color palettes/floors/windows?
Yes. Our AI is designed to preserve your original architecture, including walls, floors, ceilings, and windows. It adds furniture 'into' the space, respecting the existing lighting and perspective.
Furniture brand realism: generic vs. specific brands?
The furniture is digitally generated to look photorealistic and stylish, but it does not represent specific real-world purchasable brands.
The AI staging pipeline
What happens after upload — steps and timing.
What happens after upload? (steps + expected timing)
Once uploaded, you select your style and preferences. The AI then analyzes the room's geometry and generates the staged image. The process typically takes less than a minute.
Can I queue multiple rooms or run bulk?
Yes, you can upload multiple images. We also offer custom plans for high-volume agency needs.
How many variations per photo? Can I fix a seed for consistency?
Each request generates one optimized result based on your prompts. If you need a different look, you can adjust preferences and regenerate.
Common failure modes and how to avoid them?
The AI may struggle with extreme fisheye lenses, very dark rooms, or photos taken from unusually low or high angles. Standard eye-level shots produce the best realism.
Quality, accuracy & limitations
Will dimensions be architecturally accurate? (disclaimer)
The furniture is scaled to look realistic within the photo, but it is a visual approximation. It should not be used for precise architectural measurements.
How are reflections, glass, or tight spaces handled?
The AI attempts to generate realistic reflections in floors and windows. Complex scenes with multiple mirrors may occasionally require careful review.
Can the AI remove existing furniture or people?
Yes! Use our AI Furniture & Object Removal feature to clear messy rooms before staging them.
Outdoor views and lighting consistency?
The AI focuses on the interior. It attempts to match the lighting direction from your windows to ensure the new furniture casts realistic shadows.
What cases are not supported (bathrooms, exteriors, night shots)?
We currently specialize in interior living spaces (living rooms, bedrooms, dining). We recommend caution with bathrooms (due to complex fixtures) and exterior shots.
Edits, revisions & redos
What counts as a \u201crevision\u201d vs a \u201cnew render\u201d?
Generally, every generation that uses our AI engine counts as a credit/render because it performs a full scene analysis and generation.
How many free redos are included per image?
Our pay-per-photo model charges per generation. We recommend using the free tier to get comfortable with the tool first.
Can I tweak just the sofa/rug/wall art?
Currently, the tool regenerates the full scene based on your preferences. Granular item editing is a feature we are exploring for the future.
Can I request small manual touch-ups (paid)?
Stagely is a fully automated AI platform. We do not offer manual retouching services at this time.
Output, formats & delivery
Final resolution and file formats (JPG/PNG/WebP/TIFF)?
We deliver files in high-quality formats (typically matching your input type or converting to efficient WebP/PNG) at the original resolution.
Side-by-side before/after export?
Your gallery retains both the original and the staged result, allowing you to easily compare or showcase the transformation.
Watermarks — on/off? Where to toggle?
Free trial images always have a watermark. Paid generations (Pay-per-photo or Pro Plan) are strictly watermark-free.
Where do I download? (account library, email link)
All your generated images are saved in your account Gallery, where you can view and download them instantly.
Do you store version history?
Yes, your gallery keeps a record of your generations so you can access previous versions.
Pricing, credits & plans
One-off vs. bundles vs. subscription — what's included?
We offer flexibility: Pay-per-photo ($9/image) for occasional use, and a Pro Plan ($49/month) for frequent users which includes up to 25 images.
How are credits consumed (per image, per variation, per room)?
1 Credit = 1 Staged Image. If you regenerate a room, it uses another credit.
Do credits expire?
For subscription plans, credits typically refresh each billing cycle. Pay-per-photo purchases are for immediate use.
Any promo codes or partner discounts?
We occasionally offer promotions. Contact our sales team for information on agency or bulk partnerships.
Billing, taxes & invoices
Accepted payment methods and currencies?
We accept major credit cards via Stripe. Pricing is in USD.
VAT/GST handling, reverse charge, tax ID on invoices?
Tax calculations are handled by Stripe based on your location. You can view your payment history and download invoices from your account settings.
How do I access past invoices/receipts?
Log in to your account and navigate to the Payment history section to find all your past invoices.
Refund & chargeback policy (when eligible)?
Due to the costs of AI generation, we generally do not offer refunds on used credits. However, if there was a system error or technical failure, please contact support.
Accounts, sign-in & security
Email login, magic links, social sign-in?
We use Supabase for authentication, supporting secure email/password and common social login providers.
2FA options and trusted devices?
We prioritize security. While standard 2FA isn't currently mandatory, we use secure session management.
How to change email/password, merge accounts?
You can manage your account details in your Profile settings.
Session timeouts and suspicious login protection?
We use standard secure session tokens that refresh automatically to keep your account safe.
Data use, privacy & retention
Where are images stored and for how long?
Images are securely stored in our cloud buckets. We maintain a Gallery for your convenience, but we recommend downloading your final assets.
Can I delete originals/renders permanently?
Yes, you have full control to delete images from your gallery. We also have a recycle area for temporary recovery before permanent deletion.
Are my images/prompts used to train models? (opt-in/out)
We treat your data with privacy. Your uploads are processed to generate your results and are not publicly shared.
GDPR/CCPA rights and data export process
We respect your data rights. You can request account deletion or data export by contacting support.
Third-party processors (Supabase, Cloudflare, Stripe)
We rely on trusted industry-standard processors: Supabase for auth/db, Stripe for payments, and Cloudflare/Google Cloud for infrastructure.
Ownership, licensing & permissible use
Who owns the staged images?
You retain ownership of your original upload. The staged output is licensed to you for your use.
Commercial rights (MLS, listings, ads, brochures)?
Yes, you have full commercial rights to use the staged images for marketing your property listings, including MLS, social media, and print.
Attribution requirements?
No attribution is required, though we appreciate it if you tag Stagely!
Restrictions (no misleading structural claims, no resale of assets, AI-content disclosure if required)
Images should be used to visualize potential. We advise against using them to misrepresent the physical condition of the property (e.g., hiding structural damage). Please check your local real estate regulations regarding AI disclosure.
Content & safety policy
Prohibited content (faces, minors, sensitive items, explicit, weapons, branded IP, medical spaces)
We have strict safety filters. Do not upload illegal content, sexually explicit material, or images containing hate symbols. Such requests will be blocked.
What moderation is in place?
We use automated safety classifiers to ensure generations meet our community guidelines.
How to report/appeal a decision?
If you believe an image was flagged in error, please reach out to our support team.
Turnaround, notifications & status
Typical render times and peak-time expectations
Most images are processed within seconds to a minute. During high traffic, there might be a slight queue.
Email/app notifications; where to see job status
You can see the status of your jobs live in your dashboard/gallery.
System status & incident history page
We aim for 99.9% uptime. Major incidents will be notified via our status channels.
Troubleshooting & common errors
Upload failed/timeout; \u201cunsupported file\u201d error
Please ensure your file is a valid JPG or PNG under 20MB. If issues persist, try refreshing or using a different browser.
Render looks distorted/misaligned
This can happen if the room angle is extreme. Try an image taken from eye level with clear perspective.
Charged but no credits added
Transactions should be instant. If you don't see your credits, please refresh. If the issue remains, contact support with your receipt.
Link expired / cannot download
If a download link expires, simply navigate back to your gallery to access the image again.
How to collect logs and contact support
